My daughter was diagnosed with leukemia and missed some school due to being in the hospital. When my daughter returned to school, Justine volunteered her time outside of regular school hours to have one on one sessions with her. My daughter enjoyed these visits with Justine and I noticed an improvement in her school work. She was dedicated to seeing my daughter succeed in her own way, on her own terms, and celebrated every milestone with her.

Justine was my son's teacher when he was first assessed for special education, and she made the whole process feel really smooth and supportive. I felt included and understood every step of the way. Later, when my son moved to another district, the process felt overwhelming and I didn't feel like my voice was being heard. I reached out to Justine, and she took the time to talk with me more than once, explaining things and helping me understand my rights so I could advocate for my son in a collaborative way. I'm so grateful for the guidance and support she gave our family.
